1. Two weeks back as I was reviewing my bank statement I realized that I have 3 debit purchases I don't know of, I went to Std bank to report the incident. I was told it will be investigated once that is done I will then be updated in terms of what was that all about (or not). A few days later, when I check my bank statement my account was in order and I was reimbursed. That was all good but this was done without anyone telling me or reverted back to me whatsoever and EXPLAIN and I've been with this bank since my varsity days and to get such service - it is not appreciated at all.
2. This past weekend on Saturday, 16th March 2012 I got a notification saying a R3000 has been debited off my account with a description NAEDO DEBIT FNBRTCREV 0877363206Z435130315 - I don't really care what this debit is for. I DID NOT authorize this. How come Standard bank allows such to happen on my account. I always have sufficient funds for my debit orders-I don't need unauthorized EARLY DEBITS.The fact that it can be reversed doesn't make it right, for anyone to be able to access funds on my account - MY funds
No assurance from Std Bank was given to me as a customer that the above won't happen again.
