First National Bank
Balance transfer nearly a month overdue

I recently applied for an FNB gold credit card, which I have since received. The card was activated on february 28th. In the application process, there was an option to consolidate debt from a 3rd party creditcard. FNB picked up my balance owed on an ABSA card, and I selected to pay it off by budget feature.

I received my credit card, but have still yet to receive any contract document, or any reference whatsoever to the initial balance transfer I agreed to. Nothing has happened in my absa account. I phoned the balance transfer dptmnt, who directed me to email my query to an address. The response that followed was vague and had an attached form to start the balance transfer process from scratch.

Ive VERY confused as to how this process works, and completely in the dark about what is happening with my account. I have no reference to the figures i agreed upon in my application, and no followthrough. This has become an urgent issue for me and im receiving no response from the email query i made last thursday. PLEASE HELP.

How does the budget repayment for my account work? will it ever actually come off my ABSA balance? Has this process even started or has the ball been dropped?
