NO cash in my account after ATM cash deposit!

I went to an ATM (canal walk branch) to deposit a sum of money. I put my card in, went through the steps, put my cash in, and then it spat my card back out, and a slip of paper that read "sorry transfer unsuccessful" and it didn't spit my money out (how convenient) I then had to wait till the next day to phone the branch to let them know this had happened. They told me that I HAVE to come into the bank to fill out a claims form. This is a SERIOUS inconvenience to me, as I own a small shop which I run on my own, and cant get away without having to close the shop. I needed the cash into my account so I went into the bank to this. The lady could not find the form, so someone higher than herself made some calls, and said the money will be in my account by the morning once they cash up the ATM. The money WAS NOT in my account that morning. So I phoned Mr Busson whos number was given, who told me that the money that was in the ATM after cashing up was R1000 less than what I had put into the ATM. He said that he has to wait for Joburg to send him and E-mail to clarify and release the funds. I am still waiting for the branch manager to contact me after many messages. I NEED this sorted!!!
