I just about had enough of Standard Bank and wanted to open an account with FNB when I eventually got through to Yaseen Mayet, who calmed me down, and was very professional in the manner he dealt with my problem. After only receiving 90% on a bond application, I then lost the property which left me furious and I looked for a property around the amount that I received in the first grant. Only for the application to be declined, which really upset me, and then I came across Yaseen Mayet, who managed to keep me happy, and escalated my application which resulted in a bond grant of 100% in less than a week. I was truly impressed, great attitude and one of the few call centre agents that sounded like he wants to be there, wants to help, and cares about the customer.

I'm not happy about the final interest rate, but after the month I had with Standard Bank, that is a fight for another day.
