I am really diasappointed with Standard bank regarding their Bond Rate Review.
I contacted the call centre, the agent gladly assisted in putting an application request. Even looked at the way i conducted my accounts. Also gave me a BRI-behavioural Risk Index as a criteria for their bond rate review.
I was requested to contact the call centre about 2 days time regarding the outcomes which i have done.
The feedback i received was really frustrating, as the consultant confirmed that the outcome was -"the interest Rate I received from initiation of the Bond cannot be changed"
I find these extremely frustrating and wrong in so many levels:
1- This created FALSE HOPE
2-It was a waste of time and money contacting the call centre with the application process and would have appreciated being notified upfront.
3- I Find it unbelievable that Standard Bank does not review Bond Rates. If this is the case i will definitely be searching for other financial providers who are willing to even consider this.
This is sad especially when you been banking with Standard bank for more than a decade and to be treated this way.

Standard Bank - This is poor service!!!
