On the 28th June 2012 i posted my comment on hellopeter, std bank replied and stated that there is nothing they can do regarding the decline of our bond application. after a year we reapplied again and guess what, we have been declined again although our scores has increased and we have no adverse or judgments against our names. it seems that at the rate we going we will never be able to buy our own house instead we are renting and paying R6400 pm. as first time home buyers it saddance me to see that our dream of gettig our first house might not happen at all. my score on itc is 786 and my wife is 730, each time standard bank declines us on scoring! so you tell me, how is it that we can afford to pay R6400 pm month rent but you feel we cant afford a bond of the same repayment value or less. how is our economy suppose to grow when banks are so full of to grant a first time home buyer a bond, i am even willing to say that if you feel i am high risk, grant me a bond a garnish my salary every month in that way you will be gaurenteed your bond repayment that is how desperate i am to get a house! applicatiom numbers 4412975 and 4412960
