Wesbank Incompetency!

I re-financed my car with Wesbank and they paid out the settlement value to SBSA VAF on 23/05/2013 however I received notification from my bank today that SBSA VAF has still debited my bank account with the monthly installment i was paying! I was annoyed. Upon reviewing the proof of payment sent to me by the Wesbank consultant, I contacted Standard Bank. It has come to light that Wesbank used an incorrect reference on the settlement and therefore the funds are now sitting in the "pool" account. Instead of using my twelve-digit VAF number (as appears on my statement and settlement letter submitted to Wesbank), Wesbank omitted an single digit and subsequently SBSA has not yet recognised the settlement. I now have to wait atleast 21 days before my money is refunded to me, I hope. I am appalled by the professionalism and service of Wesbank, and have had to endeavour greatly just to figure out what's happening. I hope I will be duly compensated for all the difficulty as well as loss of my money for however long until I receive it back!!!
