First National Bank
KINDERGARDEN FNB

A couple of weeks ago, an increase of R 1 100 000 in our bond facility was approved by FNB Homeloans. This is where the good news ended. No flexi facility was awarded and we were told that we have to take all the money as a once off or nothing. When we informed them that we do not need all of it immediately, we were told to invest it in FNB. The only problem being the fact that the bond repayments would be R 4 500 more than what the investment will pay out. R 4 500 down the drain each month? FNB also insisted on a collateral guarentee of an additional R 220 000 which they can use as and when they see fit but that the repayment would be for my account? My property was valued at R 1 900 000 but FNB insited that the same property being insured for R 3 800 000? When I spoke to Nishan he threatened to cancel the application. When I told him to go ahead he refused? A lady from Premier Client services informed me that a manager will contact me within 24 hours. It only happened 50 hours later and then the "manager" with a name of Bondi argumented on what 24 hours mean. Is this Leon Schusters latest movie or Candid camera? Is this how a premier client is treated after 20 years?
