What a disgrace Stanlib is! My wife sent through a repurchase request almost a week ago. We needed the money urgently and therefore specifically phoned Stanlib to enquire when the money would be available. Phoned every day and were told money would be available by Friday. Phoned on Friday and were told that there was some FICA issue! We had to phone as no one from Stanlib bothered to contact us. The instructions on how to resolve the fica issue were so confusing that in desperation my wife went into the Stanlib offices. where she was given a total different set of instructions and assured that the money had now been paid and would available by latest Monday! Well the Money is not available and we have now been told it will only reflect by Wednesday and that tough luck as no one can tell us who dealt with us on Friday. So while Stanlib is sitting in their plush offices eating their lunches, my wife and I do not even have enough money to buy bread because of Stanlibs incompetence. I am not interested in excuses. I expect the money to be in the account now and not " there is nothing we can do excuse". My wife and me are hungry, with nothing to eat. Does Stanlib even care???
