I recently applied for a home loans at FNB, this after having home loans with ABSA and Standard Bank. Never have I had such poor service... 3 weeks into an application only to hear today that I have to start all over.

This is the problem - I bought an insolvent estate, more in 3 months ago. On my application the house was valuated. 3 Months later I applied for future use to finish my property where I have already spent R 200000.00 on. FNB refuses to sent a valuator as the property value from 3 months ago is still valid. Now I have to submit invoices to proof my spending on and on, go through the whole process again, is this really how it should work? I dont get updated on progress, I contact you on a daily basis just to be notified of new problems. I applied for R 300000.00, if credit checked, why should the application go back there? Nowhere can i speak to a manager, just one consultant to the next, and no progress.

This should be a really easy process: Check your credit, value the property, pay the funds.
