I applied for finance and was told that a trace alert is out on my name and I need to contact the DMC and have the alert removed. I called the DMC spoke to a person named Janel and she updated my information and told me the alert has been removed. Two days later I called again because it had not been removed I then spoke to a lady named Chanel and once again my details was updated and she again told me the trace alert has been removed, I then called Transunion and asked them how long does the process take they said to me up to ten working days, I then waited ten working days and called transunion again they said the trace alert is still not removed and to contact the DMC again, I then called the DMC and spoke to Chanel who again updated my details and said the trace alert will be removed, when I asked her why it was not removed the previous times she said she has no idea as to Why. She then told me I have to wait another 48hours for it to be removed and that I need to phone in everyday and check that its been done. I then asked her if I could speak to her manager she said No it will be removed and did not put me through to a manager. I am going to now contact a lawyer.
