Today I received a notification from Transunion ITC that someone has placed a trace alert on my credit profile Upon following this up I discovered that I had a trace alert from DMC. A week ago i had been contacted by a gentleman from DMC. The Standard Bank account he was referring to has been prescibed and has since been removed from my creit profile. DMC has no right, without my acknowledge of debt, to relist any debt or to put a trace alert on my credit profile! I am in the process of sending a query to Transunion to have this removed. I would like DMC to remove this illegal trace alert before i take further legal action.
