I applied for a bond for R650 000 and it was declined. I am disappointed that my application was declined without careful consideration. I have a credit bureau listing which has since been paid off early in 2012 and currently it is with the attorneys who are in the process of rescinding it. I even sent a letter from the attorneys to that effect. Despite the fact that this list could be removed from by credit bureau profile within the next few months, FNB home loans did not give a care to consider these situation when handling my home loan application. As far as affordability is concerned, I do qualify and I do not even have a lot of debts against my name, having paid off my car a year ago. As much as you publicly go on saying HOW CAN WE HELP YOU, I am at a point where I am humbly pleading with you to re-consider your decision. As much as a home loan is an emotional purchase, at least I am in a position to afford. Why are you punishing me because of a paid up listing?
