My wife applied for a homeloan about a week or so ago. Yesterday we got a system generated letter that said her application was declined. The letter doesnt detail the reasons, in terms of affordability and what she need to do to qualify and by how much they can offer at this stage so that, she know what she need to change or clear up in order to get a bond. We would have expected a more detailed reasons so that she can fix them.
As things stand now, we are in the dark as to why the application was declined, as she can afford the repayments.
