Policy opened without consent

I had a savings policy opened a few years ago at old mutual and sometime during these years i changed bank accounts, i contacted old mutual to amend the account where the debit order was coming from and i have since found out that the investment was closed at that time and a new investment was opened without my consent. I have only recently found out from my liberty broker that the investment is not an investment at all but a life cover which i would not have taken out at the age of 20 or now for that matter. I have contacted the call centre of old mutual numerous times to provide proof that i consented to such a policy but i am yet to recieve that confirmation. I have since then tried on many occasions to call the call centre again only to get myself sitting on the phone for 20minutes with no response, i need someone to look into this matter urgently.
