Outsurance was contacted [on the 04.02.2013 with regards to a leaking geyser which was replaced, on the 06.04. The assessor came out on the 05.02 and had a look at the geyser, upon inspection he had informed me that the geyser burst. We were advised not to switch off the geyser. At 11pm that same night the water leaked into interior of the bathroom causing damage to the bathroom walls and ceiling. When outsurance was contacted, we were informed that an excess would be charged which is unacceptable as the repair was not done properly. Outsurance then sent out a pick 6 plumber on the 20.02 who never came back to us with any feedback and didn't bother to access the damage properly. Outsurance management then advised that the excess would be waivered and that someone would be out to re-assess the damage and repair the ceiling, which has still not been done to date.
