It is with regret that I write this. It seems that if you are insured with Hollard for your household contents, please make sure that you keep ALL your slips and proof of purchase. Even for your 15 year old Tupperware set.
It turns out, that even after having paid premiums for years, and now having to claim for a break-in, those premiums are wasted. They will not pay you out until you can prove you bought the goods. WHAT A LOAD OF!!! Why do I have insurance then????
Thank you Hollard, for making me waist my money with you. I just hope that Joe public read this and learn. According to their policy, they will cover you for very little to nothing. So it seems that I will have to start shopping around for someone THAT ACTUALLY does what they say, INSURE YOU!!
For any Hollard people interested, you can go to claim 758059, and BTW, Patricia was not the most pleasant or helpful person to deal with there neither. It took her 2 weeks to finally tell me that I am!!! This after I had to continually phone for updates on my claim status. Now how's that for service?
