I applied for debt counselling in November 2012 with credit matters because I was struggling to make ends meet. I did the application and everything and they started deducting money from me in December 2012. They tok on all my debt including my vehicle which is financed by Absa. It turns out that they have not paid my creditors or my vegicle since I joined them. Before I joined credit matters I was in arrears by one month with my vehicle but now I'm in arrears by four as a result of me joining them. Absa has given me five working days to pay R4800 which is half of the arrear amount or else they are repossessing the car. I have informed credit matters but I was basicaly told to fend for myself as absa refused their application for my debt counselling. What about the money that credit matters was deducting from me and I thought I was protected as they told me? In 5 days I will be without a car and will be at a far worse financial position than I was before joining them
