Credit Matters
Judgement received while under debt review

I applied for debt review with Credit Matters in July 2009. In May 2011 I had a judgement served against me and my employer had to deduct amount's from my salary every month and pay over to the attorney. The debt has been settled a year ago, however now that I'm trying to apply for a bond - this judgement is causing serious problems. Why am I only complaining now... because I've had to pay a attorney R 2000.00 to attempt to have the judgement removed and I have to wait 6 weeks in which to apply for a bond. I think this is highly pathetic and unfair. As over indebted consumer's we try to fix the problem by applying for debt review. We put our finances in the hand's of Credit matters and might I add they definately claim the first payment of R4500.00 for the administration of our debt, yet they don't deliver. I thought that you are safe under debt review and that creditor's are not allowed to take judgement against you while under debt review. I suppose it is no longer their problem, as due to the amount of issues that I had while under debt review I withdrew from debt review last year and fixed all my accounts on my own. Thanks for nothing!!!
