Went into your Glenfair branch to do a stoppayment on a debit order. Was promptly told by a staff member on the floor that I need a letter from the concerned third party to do that. I insisted to speak to a consultant and was directed to Mr Calvin Pennels. He insisted that he won't be able to assist me as he had a strict directive from Capitec H/O that no stoppayments was to be allowed.? I then wanted to speak to Capitec head office and he told me that clients are 'not allowed' to phone the headoffice and that I could only phone the client centre. Another? I shall very well phone whoever I so wish to do! I then asked to see the manager and she was only to happy to assist me to do a stoppayment. I have always had a good relationship with Capitec but if your staff is not trained in such a basic function it makes me re-think my relationship with you.
