I have a savings account with capitec bank. a few months ago i had debit order going through my account which i did not authorise. i went to the bank and they returned the debit order that was fine with me. then a debit order went through my account again and i went to the capitec bank only to be told that they no longer can return any debit orders. the lady's attitude stinks she spoke rudely to me. my question to the capitec bank is that if my money is not safe in their bank and if they cannot take care of my money that i deposit into their bank, then what kind of a bank are they. the debit order was for R99-00 which is a small amount what if the amount was bigger. my personal opinion is that capitec bank is useless and you can only speak to the consultant and i was told that there was no one else i could speak to. i asked for the manager and i was disgusted that they don't have a branch manager. i will have to close my account soon
