After struggling to open a transactional account for my (house) wife, with a bank who advertise how easy it is to "switch" online and how much less I'll get "beeped", I eventually gave up trying and contacted the Capitec call centre.
I spoke to a young man called Matthew Nkosi, explained my problem, and within 2 minutes had all of the answers and had received the necessary documentation via e-mail.
What a pleasure. The young man is an assett to your bank.
(It's better to have decent service and get a beep when you need one, than to have NO SERVICE and NO BEEP at all!)
