Assessment that quoted half of the damaged parts

Hi. I laid a claims with the insurance and afterwards i was asked to email the photos of the car and to go and make a quote. I went and took photos and made quotation from the qualified panel beaters however after two weeks the insurance sent out their private assessor to come and my car. the private assessor's report came, to amazement it was much lower than the quote that I got from the panel beaters, some of the damaged parts where not quoted forint the report and the rest of the quotation was based on second hand parts. I expressed my disappointment with them as we'll because even from the very first I laid a claim it was me following up with them, I was always promised that they'll come back to me of which it takes them forever to do so.
