I recently purchased us dollars. On my return to sa a few days later, i went back to the same bank, wanting to deposit the money not spent. I approched the teller who informed me that i need my passport with me. I then went back to the teller who originaly sold me the dollars, who in turn gave me the certified copy of my passport, id and drives licence, with the absa bank stamp on, i took this back to the main teller who told me that this is not acceptiable. How is this possible? The bank issued me with a certified copy that they have made and signed, yet are unable to assist me?
