Incompetent service am very frustrated

My policy number is OT19429223. I phone outsurance in April 2012 asking for a quote for my vehicle. i told the lady that i was happy with the quote but i will call back to tell them when to start deducting as i was still supposed to serve a notice with the company that was at the time still insuring me but because she convinced me to give her my banking details then i was suprised to see a debit order on the 27 th of april and i emmediately went to my bank to reverse it. in May i called to say now they can start the cover on 01/06/2012 but i was debited on the 27th of May again and on the 01/6/2012 another debit order was done. i phoned call centre they apologised again and then reversed the debit order done on 27th may. now the premium is increasing in april, i have not claimed and they cant review my policy because they say i had unpaid claims last year in april and may. is this fair that someone makes a mistake in their call centre sales and now i must suffer for it? is this what will happen when something happens to my car and i want to claim that i will be told that i skipped premium? what kind of incompetency is this
