In the middle of January I went to STD Westgate (my acc is held at Norhtcliff) to ask for help. i am currently unemployed and not able to pay any of my debt. I was retrenched in Jan 2012 1 month before I went on maternity leave, I only received an opportunity in August to work at Sasol on a contract basis which ended on the 19 Dec, I went to the branch as I said in the middle of January to see if standard bank could help me make arrangements for a few month until I get a job. I was told SORRY we cant help you, The lady at the branch then got the legal department on the phone for me and I think his name was Jessie and he told me SORRY, your account is not in areas now so there is nothing that we can do for you, you need to wait for your account to first go into areas. I then ask the lady I think her name is Michelle (she sit at the first cubicle when you enter Westgate branch) just behind the info desk to please update my details, specially my phone number in order for somebody to phone be once my account is in areas. it is now the 25/Feb time for more debit orders to go off and for more charges to be charged to my account and still nobody has phoned me
