Std bank is opening up cheque accounts without pe

I received two statements from standard bank westgate one a policy and another a cheque account opened up in my name without my knowledge or permission. This is very serious and as who does have the authority at standard bank westgate to open up false accounts for clients without their permission. I phoned the westgate branch and they told me that they could not see a cheque account registered in my name but I received a proper statement with all my details and stating that i do own a cheque account with them. The gentleman said to me yes there is showing a cheque account opened up in my name but it is showing on another screen. This is very worrying as there must be a standard bank westgate employee opening up false accounts under the clients names. How did they manage to get this done. Now they tell me that they cant close the account i will have to personally go to standard bank (any branch) with the documents if i want to close this account. There is also showing a loan for R400.00.
