SA Homeloans
Unfriendly, uncompassionate

In September of 2012, I lost my job, and made contact with the pre legal dept of SA Homeloans in Durban, where I was told that I could make payments based on my UIF amount of R4000 per month. My installment on my house is that!? I pleaded my case, and promised to make payments regularly, until I could find permanent employment again. I started working on the 4th of February, which means my salary is due to me by the end of February. My wife received a very rude, unfriendly phoe call from Pam Subramany, saying that we were in arrears of R7997, and were given until the 26th of February, to make payment, or legal action will be taken against us. I then tried phoning, and was told she was out. Left a message, and never heard anything again. Later that afernoon, I received a missed call from a Private number. I was busy with my boss, so did not answer. I get an sms saying that we had until the 26th, to avoid legal action?!
I sent Pam Subramany an email, explaining that I would pay the arrears in monthly installments of R1000, over and above the normal installments. I have not received any feedback.
I am disgusted at the heartlessness.
