Agent Refused to call their own call centre

I was at Old Mutual branch in Mall Of the North requesting a statement of my handed over account as I don't have their details but an Agent at another branch assisted me to make a new debit order arrangement.

When i got to this branch (mall of the North) I told the receptionist my story and she told me that she can only get me the number of the company handling my account as my account is no longer with old mutual. but when i gave her my id number she checked me on the system and even told me that the company handling my account is paying them. When i asked her to call the company to request a statement and a settlement amount on my behalf she told me she cannot do that for me as I am going to make her over spend on her telephone bill. I pleaded with her to call the company she did call but the was no answer. Funny enough she never gave me the telephone number of that company (traceOnLine).

I went back to her after a couple of days for the same query she told me that I am becoming a problem because my account is not with Old Mutual anymore. I must dial 1023 and request the number and Dail myself. From the service i received i want to cancell all my product with Old Mutual.
