I am a South African temporarily working overseas and desperately needed my pension fund payout to make a critical payment. The 1st pension fund payout attempt was done in good time but declined by the bank due to poor spelling of my name by my former employer. Long story short I phoned Alexander Forbes for help as it was 2 days before payment was due. Call centre told me me normal procedure is 5-7 working days before another payout would happen. Frantically I phoned again. desperate for help. The team leader, Sumashen Govender, listened to my story and did went 10 extra miles for me. The admin department certainly assisted with putting that payment through far ahead of their normal procedure. They didn't have to do this for me, but because they did, I am not in enormous financial trouble today. Thanks Alexander Forbes or really caring about me, a total stranger in my time of need!!
