Wrong ref no punched by the bank

On the 12/02/13 I went to the bank to make a deposit of R15000.00 into the net income solution account, this dep was suppose to appear in my defencex account the following day of the 13 but it couldn't. I went to the bank and was told that the wrong reference was captured and that I must rectify it. I tried but failed then went back to the bank and was told that the mistake was going to be fixed before the end of the day which means on the 15 the dep was going to appear.
On the 19 I went back to the Bank to find out what happened as the money wasn't reflect in my account at defencex and was told that they know nothing concerning the reference number and that they only deal with the account no.
What worries me is that I am going to loose my R15000.00 for their mistake.
