Does loyalty not count?

Shortly after the marvellous experience as stated in my previous compliment, I had a few mishaps with my VW. I get a call from A&G to say they will entertain my claim but after that I am not insured. On at least 3 occasions, I have gone back to A&G after having had a claim processed and pointed out mistakes to them which I have told them about before the fact - damage to a vehicle that was for my pocket but which they had paid. This is recorded with them as I had a bad experience with my houseowners insurance and I obtained a letter from A&G stating that I am a good customer and they are very happy to insure me. When I was obviously disappointed and after my broker spoke with them, they said they will refer it and I do not need to worry. About a month after that, I received a call after hours to say I have no insurance from that phone call. After years with a company and having built up a good reputation, I now have to state that I have been refused insurance before? Not good at all. It is a while ago now but it still rankles. Honesty gets rewarded indeed.
