I recently had to make a claim for my TV under my policy. My TV fell whilst moving the room around and broke and in the process tore the carpet in 2 places.
My TV claim was processed immediately and the claim was paid out by evening.
However the carpet claim was turned down as it is not covered under policy. All other insurers will cover all damage caused by the insured item. I once spoke to the ombudsman and he told me that insurers have to put you into the same position as before.
Not withstanding that I must compliment the service I received from Natasha which was very good, she is a credit to the company.
