So Outsurance put themselves out there and promised to pay out R400 if they cannot beat your current insurer. Well, I smsed the word quote to the number provided twice and had their consultants contact me on both occasions, and provided me with a quote which was much higher than my current premium. Both consultants promised to email me a copy of their quotation in order for me to claim the R400. To date I have not received anything from any of the consultants, and Im starting to wonder if this promise will ever be kept or if they are looking for a way out of paying the cash out.
Either way, I am very disappointed in Outsurance and I am thankful that I did not take a policy with them.
I work in the insurance industry myself and know what it means to make a promise to a prospective client, but making a promise you cant keep is just not right.
