I applied with ABSA for a loan to buy a new car, thinking that my bank that I have been with for over 12years! With a good credit record, and a low risk client with the means to do the car deal cash, decided that I would rather do the deal with my bank. Only to find out that being a good client, with low risk is not good enough to get a good interest rate. I think it's totally discusting that a loyal ABSA client be treated like this! Maybe I should close all my accounts with ABSA and move to a bank that actually rewards good clients!!!
