I logged this against SAML. I took a loan through SAML now known as Bridge loans and due to unforeseen circumstances I could not make the repayments at the amount agreed. The account was then handed over to Coombe and Associates now known as Flemix. The amount taken over by the lawyers was R20829.77 and I agreed that the garnish order be put on for the payments to go through. I enquired with the Coombe and Associates on the end date for the garnish order and they could not help me. I then asked for a settlement amount to see from there and the amount was R25244.88 that I apparently still owe. The amount taken over was R20829.77, I have paid to date R28813.44 and yet I still owe R25244.88. All I have paid is interest. I did not ask to hand my account over so why should I be liable for lawyers fees. I am being charged 60% interested and with the NCP the max charged is 30%. One month the interest I was charged was the amount I am being debited. I have asked why and was told to contact SAML which I tried and to date no feedback. No matter how desperate you are, do not take a loan from them, they will you dry. I am airing it out and this is just a start. My next step...
