We had a vehicle finance with WessBank and have being paying for more than two years. End of last year I was suddenly retrenched. I spoke to the bank on a weekly basis and me and my wife worked really hard to get employed. February this year my wife got full time employment and on the 7th February I had a discussion with Miss Nonchan explaining to her that at the end of February we would be in a position to pay our monthly installments. She explained that I must immediately pay an outstanding amount of R7200.00. After some discussion we agreed that I have till the 22 February to pay this amount. I explained to her that I am busy selling my boat at the value of R250, 000 for the amount of R100, 00.
On the 12 I was phone by a Mr. Roy from their recovery section to come and view the car. On th 13 I phone WessBank to understand what is happening. After speaking to a Black lady who refused to give me her name, I asked to speak to the account manager. Miss Umslancha told me she did not except this arrangement and that they are recovering the vehicle today. I explained that I am was able to secure the money and would be in a position to pay within two days. She refused and say she is busy
