I started working in February and I need to buy a new car. Hence the loan. I approached Hyundai. They got all my details and passed it on to Wesbank. A fellow colleague that started with me got her finance in less than two days. She is in the exact same position as I am (we started as graduate employees). The issue at hand is: I am 22 and starting my first job. For the first month I am working as a contractor during the training period and thereafter I will be permanent. Both the temp and permanent employment contracts are signed off. My colleague used this as proof of employment and proof of payment. Both of us took the same approach and used the same material and we are in the exact same financial position. Why on earth am I being rejected if they accept someone else with the same profile? Are the people handling my finance application ignoring the employment contracts I sent along? So frustrated!! Can someone at Wesbank please contact me and explain this disparity?
