A quote of R23000 (inc spray paint) was submitted to AF for hail damage. AF contacted me and advised this was approved . when we received our car back from Jacks Panel beaters we identified the spray paint was not done well, different shades . other things were not done which AF will pay. however they will not pay for the spray paint as they say it was not covered. on the 4th Feb I spoke with Jason Gibson and this was the first time I was told that the spray-paint was not covered on the claim /the panel beater was made aware of this cover. All interactions we had with both parties no one mentioned this important fact . and now after all of this we are liable to rectify this and cover the cost ourselves. All that Jason tells me is that we had an agreement with the PB - this doesn't make sense, the whole breakdown of communication and it feels that AF is not willing to accept that part of this whole problem was due to not all information been communicated to us, we would have never done the spray work. I would really appreciate it I can speak to someone who can shed some light in terms of your process. I joined AF because of their benefits and good service. But now Im not too sure
