Am a client using a different banking instiution, had a credit card account with ABSA so i decided to close it off because i dont need it anymore. Phumeza Mnanga the sales rep was assisting me. paid off the account as written in the letter. when i came back from the teller, i was told to speak to the credit card division. i was told that there is a handling fee i hv to pay which i was never aware of. i told them i wont pay what is not in the letter as printed, especially after i had already made the payment. the consultant seeked for the Manager's assistance (Yasin Hendricks). when he got to me, he just told me they are going to give m back my money and make other means of payment. after 2 hours i hv been waiting for assistance. such an inconvinience on a short day, saturday. that was just a picture of a poor service from such a big company. i expected Yasin to handle the matter better. on top of it all, he told m to make the payment and call the credit card division to close the account. use my money to make that call after i had made means to go to the branch. it's true when they say "it's better the devil u know than the 1 u don't". People I suggest u stick to ur bank
