October last year 27th, 2012, I called in to make a claim for my car. A booking was made for the 4th Feb 2013 with Autobhan bmw to fix my car. Two days before my car had to be fixed i called the penal beater to follow up on my repair booking and was told by the Autobhan consultant that they would not be able to assist me for the next 6 weeks or so, reasons being as follows:
- my parts would have to be ordered oversees in Germany and that would take 6 weeks
- Too many cars were being fixed and the autobhan manager has ordered the staff to no longer take any further bookings
In an attempt to find an alternative solution to getting my car fixed which i have been driving in it's damaged state for months, I called the insurance Virgin money to request an alternative penal beater. The insurance assured me after two follow ups they would find assistance for me by the end of the day. The insurance never came back to me. On my 3rd followup the insurance advise I'd have to wait until the 7th March to get my car fixed. I logged a formal complaint as this was unacceptable service for the increased premiums I'd been payin for $months and now was expected to wait another month for no services
