My vehicle's crankshaft pulley bolt broke, resulting in the timing belt also coming off and damaging the head and valves. AMP now only wants to pay for the crank shaft pulley and I must pay the rest. According to their assessor the items have no resemblence to the initial "incident" which is the crank shaft pulley coming loose. Funny that. Crank and the cam can operate independently?! Why the do you need a timing belt then?! I have to pay close to R130000.00 while they pay only R4000.00! This is absurd. In future I will advise any and all to stay away from these stealers as far as possible. They make up all sick lame and lazy excuses! Rather save some money and pay for it yourself.
