I I took you the Crankshaft of a Colt Rodeo 3000 on Monday 18/11/2013. I explained that the front portion of the shaft had been damaged by a broken spacer and that I needed it repaired so that a new spacer can be fitted without it being damaged.
Andre ad a look at it and told me it would cost around R 500.00 to have repaired and that you would cut it back and press a sleeve on to make up for the space that was damaged and cut back. Andre then asked that I bring in the block so that the spacing can be established.
The full Assembly, block, Crankshaft, Timing belt gear, Timing pick up plate, Spacer and Fan Belt pulley with the timing switch was delivered to CME Tuesday and I send a mail Wednesday morning early, with diagrams and confirmation of the work to be done.
We collected the shaft yesterday and my girlfriend was billed R 1174.20 for the work which included a polish, which was never asked for in any form.
I sent the above mail to Andre and asked for a follow up. I got a read receipt, but, to date, no reply.
