No payment on House Ins claim

CL HIC12/001235. Frozen Solar Panels 1/8/12. Ken Harrison (InsContractor) came out by passed system and said must wait for ins. 3 weeks no reposnse Calld Ken said ins will only pay out T15 000.00. He claimed R15250.00 from ins System 1 year old paid R 27824.97. Ken quotes R35 165.58 for 2 panels not 3. Believe he is pushing his own system Ins not int in my problem st sll. Asked Ins why was I not advised and must learn info from contractor and deal withhim - Silence. After numerous calls and arguments were send confirmation of reason for short p/ment "Freezing panels". Must read Polcy wording 16.1 to 16.6. Direct systems not insured. No where does this state this is the contract. Also send proof that all conditions and requests has been complied with. No response. When I call the same answer. and attitude. Take it or leave it. I was advised that I can close my Ins policy if i prefer it is my choice. Nice customer service. I would like to find out if all the other customers are aware that their Solar systems are not ins. because thay are on a direct system. Need to ask on face book. I prepared a claim for the ombudsman, but will await the outcome of my complaint with you.
