On 15 Feb I placed my order for a Suntank Solar geyser (they take 80 % deposit) and Neriel had promised that I was supporting South African company with best quality and service.
I was notified that the installation would only take place on 7 March (3 weeks later), I asked for an earlier date but no.
The team arrived on 7 March and the installation was only PARTLY done:
The tank is damaged with dents
The panels have not been installed level
The panels are laid across a transition in the roof area (we were told it would fit on the one face). This will cause maintenance issues for items being caught under the panels
The piping to one of the geysers is exposed and not clipped or fitted professionally
All 3 'old' geysers were not connected to the system as per our order
The controller was not installed
I have now been informed that the maintenance team will be available on the 9 April. UNBELIEVABLY this POOR service and incomplete installation is going to be done under MAINTENANCE.
Also this 'perfect' service will have taken 8 weeks. This is totally unacceptable. I just hope they will sort out the POOR quality installation
