NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY VIRGIN IS HANDLING MY CLAIM

My husband was in an Accident with my Bakkie. I Notified Virgin Insurance. They phoned my husband to take in to a panelbeater in Ellisras. They took some photos. That is now like two weeks ago. Today I phoned them again to ask how far is the claim, as we stay on a farm and its gravel roads and the damages is actually getting worse. The total claim is about R20 000.00. They cant the process the claim until they have listened to the voice recording when I took out insurance with them. I declared that my previous bakkie was also in an accident and was written off. They make me feel like a and. Why did they accept my money then in the first place? What would happen if I am in a bigger accident and my car cant drive??? How will I get along.

The accident happened some time in January 2013 I cant remember the exact date.
