My husband had an accident on 04/12/2013.The accident was caused by a guy that skipped the red robot and tried to make a turn and ended up drivind into my husband and children on their way to school to pick up report cards. Prime Meridian is the insurance company my husband use. THey towed the bakkie to their company. We had endless conversations over the incident. Finally they decided that the bakkie is a writeoff and they will pay us out. The damage was 75.91% of the value of the car. They wanted to pay out MFC as they though the car was still being paid off. Suddenly when they found out that the car has been paid of and they need to pay my husband out they decided to have a meeting over the whole incident. We got a letter yesterday to say that the claim has been rejected and they are not going to pay out anything to my husband and he must make a plan to come and fetch his bakkie and pay the towing cost of that day. They were too eager to pay out the money or let us buy the bakkie back from them when they through the bakkie was still MFC ownership. The person that drove into them was driving with a company bakkie. Does this persons comapany need to pay for the damages that was done.
