I have been with Standard bank for years.
It the only bank account I have ever had.

The problems with these guys are just never ending and I am really thinking of changing banks. I'd rather pay high bank costs and get a service than still pay high bank costs and get no service at all.

So these new cards with the chip in is the worst idea ever.
I am on my 3rd card in probably 6-8 months.

On the 4th of January I went to the branch on North Rand road. they reset my pin and everything. The card still didnt work. I had to empty out my account inside the branch so I can have money. They made coppies of my card and took my number down. They were gona fix it and call me.

On the 25th of January (pay day) I didnt get any call yet. I tried drawing money. The card was not fixed. Here I sit with no money. I have to take off work to go to the Branch again and sort it out. Eventually I got a new card AGAIN.

I logged send a email last week asking to explain the fixed banking costs to me. Their responce time is 24 hours. What a joke. I am still waiting. So I guess I would have to take of work again to go and find out at the branch.

They really dont take care of their clients.
