Last Year Oct I financed my R 430 000 vehicle through MFC. reason being declined from Westbank, refer to credit.
I have financed over 25 vehicles for my company with WB, never missed one instalment. I have currently got a Horse box financed with WB (approved last year). Upon investigation, one of the vehicles was written off, a discrepancy between the insurance company top up cover and settlement paid by my insurance company. Get this it was 7 years ago. No phone call no knowledge etc. So finally WB credit manager calls me to say Mr Smith we are so sorry, please accept our approval for your Hyundai H1. A little to late as MFC already approved and I signed the deal. So now I purchase a vehicle for my Wife for R90 000 (put R 30 000 deposit down). They ask me to sign surety, and vaboom my name appears again as a bad credit and she cannot have her vehicle approved, due to WB non sorting out of their error. Myself and my wife are premier acct holders, I have 3 business accounts with FNB, I have 2 gold credit cards, two home loans all with FNB, I also have two business accounts with RMB. Wesbank are losing deals. Did i mention 53 min for someone to answer phone? Not impressed
