Rennies Foreign Exchange Bidvest Bank
UNLAWFUL HOLD OF MY FUNDS

I write to report the unlawful hold Bidvest bank placed on my account since January 1, 2014. This hold is not only unlawful but also unethical and violation of my consumer rights.
I run a clothing warehouse, a client bought goods from me for resale in her boutique. She paid me in cash and the rest by EFT before goods were released to her. 2 days later, Bidvest bank blocked my account that FNB authorized them to hold my account because they alleged the client had a charge-back from her FNB merchant device (speed point); as a result of this, FNB is placing a hold on the store's account.. I am simply a supplier who got paid in exchange for my goods which were taken by the client, I made several attempts to contact FNB but FNB's Sheryl Govender declined comment claiming that "am not their client and as such they have no business with me". If am not a client of FNB, why must FNB instruct Bidvest bank to block my account for no reason? If FNB has any problems with their merchant, that should not be my problem as I was only a supplier to the client. Bidvest bank has no right to hold my funds which is not reported by the payer. Can they do this to Macro and other big suppliers?
